    By accessing or using Acheevable ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

    Description of Service

    Acheevable is a platform where certification and badge-granting programs are discovered, pursued, and issued as verifiable credentials. The Platform enables Program Owners to define Acheevables and issue Acheevments, and enables Acheevrs to discover opportunities, pursue Acheevments, and carry verified proof of their development.

    User Accounts

    To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

    • Provide accurate and complete information
    • Maintain the security of your account credentials
    • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
    • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

    Acheever Responsibilities

    As an Acheever, you agree to:

    • Only claim Acheevments that you have legitimately earned
    • Provide accurate information in your profile
    • Respect the intellectual property of Program Owners
    • Not misrepresent your credentials or capacities

    Program Owner Responsibilities

    As a Program Owner, you agree to:

    • Only issue Acheevments to individuals who have completed the requirements
    • Accurately describe your Acheevables and their criteria
    • Maintain the integrity of your credentialing programs
    • Have the authority to issue credentials on behalf of your organization
    • Respond appropriately to verification inquiries

    Intellectual Property

    The Platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Acheevable and protected by intellectual property laws.

    Program Owners retain ownership of their Acheevable content, branding, and credential designs. By using the Platform, Program Owners grant Acheevable a license to display and distribute their content as necessary to provide our services.

    Verification Services

    Acheevable provides verification services for issued Acheevments. While we strive to maintain accurate records, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of information provided by Program Owners or the validity of underlying credentials they issue.

    Prohibited Conduct

    You agree not to:

    • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
    • Create fraudulent Acheevables or Acheevments
    • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
    • Interfere with the Platform's operation or security
    • Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without permission
    • Use automated systems to access the Platform without authorization

    Disclaimer of Warranties

    The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

    Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Acheevable shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

    Termination

    We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease, though your issued Acheevments will remain verifiable.

    Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

    Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
